« on: December 25, 2012, 05:17:00 AM »
Good morning everyone and Merry Christmas, its 5 am Im up drinking my coffee waiting for the kids to wake and open their presents.Wanted to post this earlier in the week but my son looks on here.I got my son a new bow for Christmas its a Leon Stewart one piece Slammer .He is 11 years old and he got his first deer this year but not with traditional equipment. He shoots with me all the time but I didnt feel he was ready with his bow and it also did not meet the Pa requirements at his draw. This new bow will be 35.5 lbs at his draw .Leon set me up with a beauty and i cant waite for them to get up so he can open it up.I will try and get some pics up later in the day.I feel like a little kid again at Christmas, being a dad is great.

Cherish these days John. The younger they are the more fun Christmas is.
Our kids are all in college right now. They stayed up so late last night they won't get out of bed today till noon.

I'm sure he will love it, can't wait to see pics.

Story Book Christmas!!   :)
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways-BOW in one hand-ARROWS in the other-Body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming-WOO HOO! WHAT A RIDE!
