new years eve doe
« on: December 31, 2012, 01:19:00 PM »
Took a nice doe with my Timberhawk Talon Premier recurve this morning. Passed on 5 does and a nice 16" tenpoint. On the way out caught a doe bedded in 4" snow. Snuck to   twenty yards and put a delta two blade hust right. Thirty yds late 're she was mine.

Sneaking up on and cleanly killing a whitetail is something that not everyone can do... congratulations!  That will be one you remember for a long time!

  Congrats!  Was looking to get out and do the same today but couldn't.  Will have to wait until 2013...I mean a couple days!  :)

Great job!  I'm still trying to sneak my way in on a whitetail.  I got to within about 45 yards of two today, but the snow has a nice crunch on top.  I think without that I could have closed the extra 25y and maybe gotten a shot.

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.
