Practice, Practice, Practice!
I need to be more consistant with my shots and stop second guessing before release.

I want to become REALLY good with my HHA longbow. I sold off my compound back in June and dedicated my shooting to the longbow. I have become pretty good. This next year I want to take it to a whole new level. Part two is to shoot a deer, any deer, with my longbow. I need to break the ice and get something with traditional gear.

I will do my best to find a better piece of private land here in the NC Piedmont to hunt deer. Any of you NC fellows have any land you want to share with an old bow hunter -- just give me a shout.

Shoot more. I shoot almost every day at home but I didn't get out to shoot many 3D shoots last year and didn't hunt at all the last 2 years...that definitely has to change for this year

Shoot my bow more often, for sure. Especially after how my season is going.
Fletch up a few more huntin' arrows.
Try out some Muzzy Phantom broadheads I recently bought from the classifieds section.
Get my oldest son(15 yrs. old now) ready to start bow hunting next season.
Do more bowfishing!

I joined PBS, so hopefully find a like minded trad bowhunter. I am moving to Montana, so save up $ for good boots, binos and a nice pack frame. Extend my effective hunting range to 35 yards. Keep practicing with my turkey calls, and get some elk calls and learn them. Strengthen my relationship with God and my family

to go to my favorite trad archery shop and walk out WITHOUT a new bow in my hand...
sometimes i like to challenge myself with the seemingly impossible. it's good for the soul...
(for the record, i have no expectations whatsoever of succeeding.)

I want to try bow fishing, give up the training wheels completely, build a new huntable bow and bloody it. Trying to get back into shape so that I can fullfill 2014's resolution, ELK! Happy New Year, Gang!

Strengthen my relationship with God. That will make everything else work how it should!
Remember to put in for the Kentucky elk hunt draw this time! Last year was the first time since it started I never put in! My Tall Tines deserves to see Kentucky!

I think I want to actually meet some of the Tradgangers that I talk with on line.
I need to make more time for what I want to do and less putting it on the back burner because of work obligations.
I created a whole list of critters or places I realistically want to hunt. Time to start crossing some off.

Make sure I hit "anchor" each time I draw my bow back.
There are quite a few ways to send an arrow down range but it takes discipline to do it correctly, that's my New Year's resolution.
