I resolve to get better from my surgery, then get to work on my shooting by turkey season. Also, I intend to make a lot more bows got friends and family, teach my nephew about bowyering, and get my wife and kids shooting with me more.

And did I mention build a lot more bows????    :archer:

1. Take a gobbler with my recurve.

2. Practice smarter;
always take some time to practice form
    moving targets
    more stump style shooting.

3. Watch less T.V. (Once NFL season ends)

AND

Officially beat TP and improve my consistency.

i would also say i will reduce bows and stop buying/trading, but that will just not happen (unless required for #1 or #2)

Too actually get my mess straight and HUNT - seems life has caught up with me past two yrs and the prep for hunting season has been lacking leading to some not so good hunts.

So I spent these last couple weeks walking new ground stump shooting - getting my eyes on places that I will follow for stand sites through spring and summer and will devote at least a couple days a month if not more to getting out to the woods.

To do most of my hunting this year with my '63 Dogleg Kodiak.
Dropping 35-40# wouldn't be a bad thing either,
off of me, not my bow...    ;)

As far as archery - over the past 8 years I have flip flopped with my archery gear, get discouraged and run out for more modern equipment to speed up a kill, always know it's a mistake but do it anyway - costs me a few thousand each time and then sell it all again. I set a "goal" to get it all narrowed down by the time I turn 50 (less than two years). Shoot my traditional gear 99.9% of the time anyway and only enjoy the modern stuff for about 5 minutes. I'm sure I'm not alone is this behavior but wish it to stop. That's my goal anyway.

I've been in archery for just one year.  I've bought and sold at least 15 bows, had a lot of fun, and have found some bows that I really like.

My goal this year is to hang onto and shoot the bows that I have.  I also want to learn more about matching arrows with my bows.

My goal for 2013 is to shoot more 3D and become a better shot and gain confidence ! I'm much better than I was a year ago,but I see plenty of room for improvement ! I also want to start some sort of strength training so my bow isn't as hard to pull on cold mornings !

Get rid of/sell excess gear I don't use.

Find more/better ground to hunt.

Spend more time working for the "Kingdom".
