Looking For The Buyer I Sold to A Chad Holm Bow to *PIC*
« on: January 01, 2013, 09:22:00 PM »
I sold this bow to some in Minnesota I think.
And I'm trying to find out who I sold it to .

Here is what the bow looks like.

62" 36# @ 29" "Osprey"

I would like to see if they still have it, and at any time they would like to sell it, I'll buy it back.

I sold it at a time when I was having shoulder troubles, my shoulder problems seem to be Ok now

The bow has the drawings of a deer on one side and on the other side is the tail.  The deer drawings are of two different stories in my hunting experiences that Chad had done for me.
I was foolish in selling it.

Thanks for your help on this.

Humbly eating crow !!!

I do apologize Chad for selling the bow.

I think out of all the bows I had Chad Holm is the most creative with the woods he uses.  I still think that the poundage would be marginal for me.  But if I didn't use it all the time it would be OK.  Now to go flying 60 arrows in an hour and 1/2 might give me some troubles.  My shoulder is a lot better than what it was, it's about 90% back, and they say that's about as good as it gets. I like the idea that Chad was able to take and put drawings on the bow (through a different artist) who he works with, was pretty cool.  Now that's one bow that I would pick up about once a month and shoot just to keep it around.

If I find that person that I sold it to, I'll just wait until he gets tired of having it, and be patient to see if he will sell it back to me.  If not, that's what this sport is all about
" memories "

Thanks

Yes it sure would be nice to find it.  I think I sold it about a year and 1/2 ago.  I think I sold it to someone off the Tradgang because there's only two places I advertise bows that I sell.  And I have never had any trouble off Trad gang.  Everyone's been pleasant to deal with.  There's some really good people on Tradgang.

I've purchased two different custom bows from Chad, and I've had about two others of his from off the classifieds here.  Chad has been the best I have work with.  One time I went up to pick up one of the bow's and Chad spent an hour and 1/2 with me make sure it was the right fit.

I think Chad puts a lot of his heart into his bows that he makes.  And he treats every customer like it is his first one. In my business I call Chad a " life changer " that's because he's a schoolteacher.  He's one of those dudes it makes a difference in everything he does.

Thanks guys

Chad's bows are special.  They are more than well-made and shoot like a dream.  Up until recently I owned two, just sold one cause while they both were different woods/different look, they were too similar, one 46#/64" one 47#/60"...just sold the shorter one but the longer one is a keeper, plain and simple.  Been trying to get the word out on Chad's bows as much as possible over on AT and Stickbow.com.
