new member ques. about serving

Hello everyone just found this site on thurs. i have a question about my bow string i had a local put a string on my recurve some time back and the serving is getting bad my question is if i put a flemish string on should it also have serving? any info will be much appreciated thanks.

At the arrow nocking site, yes. At the loop ends, no.
