Knawbow the fall seemed to fly by this year ! My wife said something about me living at my camp. I leave for Florida in the am (to make up for being gone all fall) but when I get back if we could put something together at those State Parks I'm in.

Went to the DEC site and got a registration # for the Special Hunt January 12-31. They will allow you to take 2 antlerless deer PER DAY during this hunt! They must be up to their eyeballs in deer up there! The State Parks (Treman, Buttermilk Falls) are not allowing firearms. Any guidance from those more familiar with the area? I can see myself driving the 2 hours each way for a hunt or 2 before it's over...

huntryx, you have to sign in at both state parks, they will give you a map of where you can and can't hunt. roads are plowed in the parks...buttermilks a little rougher terrain..

I'm going over tomorrow afternoon to scout Treman and pick up their map and park hunting rules. Won't be there for the Saturday opener, have a meeting at work. Most of next week is wide open.
