I hunted the 30th and 31st here in MN and saw one with one antler but could not get a close enough look to see if it had dropped or was broken off low.

Nephew hunted the last day of muzzleloader season (December) and shot a half rack 6pt. The other side fell off when he grabbed the rack for a photo.

Picked up 4 sheds New Years Day while checking trail cameras. One set and two singles, there are 4 other bucks that have shed that aren't any of the ones I picked up. One side of the set I found was only on the ground for a couple of hours. He was in front of my camera at 6am with one side on and I picked it up a little after 8am.

Friend of mine shot a really good buck Christmas Eve, one antler fell off when he hit the ground. They do seem to be shedding early this year. Last year I was seeing antlered bucks through the end of January. Checked cameras last week and had no antlered bucks, a couple looked like bucks body wise, pics weren't good enough to see pedicels.

Found a 75 incher in southern Iowa December 22nd.
Also saw another buck that was shed. Prolly saw 20 bucks carrying both sides though.

Still wearing antlers in Central Indiana. I saw a nice 6 point and a really nice 8 point tonight and they were still carrying.

Hope I see some still carrying in the morning, at least one. Haven't had as much time to hunt this season as I normally do and would like to put a little more meat in the freezer.

I found these just like this two days after Xmas. Talking with the landowner, he mentioned seeing a couple of Bucks out in his field since the season ended a month back. He thought he was seeing more does all of a sudden.
I took my Lab out for a run in the hayfield and saw these from a distance just before Parker did. Told him to stay while I took a few pix then let him retrieve them. "Good Boy"!!
They would score in the low 160's.
Now if he can avoid traffic and coyotes for the next 6 months.

It's really simple. Just don't take those borderline shots. Tomorrow is another day.

Hunted in West Virginia the last 4 days of December. Saw two bucks that had shed their rack. A friend found a shed on the way to his stand and shot the buck it came off. The other antler came off as the buck fell. Great way to have a set.
