Some tall tales from the 2012 TallTines deer season
« on: January 07, 2013, 06:44:00 PM »
Hello fellow TG'ers and Happy New Year.  I thought I'd take a minute and share some pics of Dad and I from this past fall.  The season is quickly winding down here and I find myself anxious for the 2013 Oct. opener.  The "hunt" never really ends with shed hunting, springtime scouting and stand changes along with summertime drives with the girls keeping an eye on the bean fields.  This past summer I decided to try to video my hunts myself in order to a keep a video record that someday my kids might find interesting.  I was able to get all four kills on video and keep a basic video diary of the season which really added to the "fun" factor for me and also allowed me to review footage of shot placement.  I hope in the future to be able to upload video clips to the website throughout the year if there is interest in it.  Thanks again to all of you for supporting the bowyers and other business's who sponsor this site.

I will try to get in later and fill in more information.  Until then, see you down the trail.

It's 12:30 a.m. and I just got in from the shop.  I'll try to get some stories to go with the pics tomorrow sometime.  The woods in that bow are myrtle limbs and a ziricote riser with a chechen wave. 60" and 59#@28".
