I just took a bow in trade and it says Lone Wolf by John Maus on it. I can't find anything on this bowyer. Beautiful bow and very nice shooter for a 52" recurve.
Anybody know John?

Larry, John is a retired Marine living in Glennie, Michigan. I met him a few years ago and have shot his bows at the Expo in Michigan--they are shooters.

He used to come down to NC and sold longbows is all I ever saw.
He made some plane jane's or some real beauties and I agree with David Mitchell(of course).
A friend of mine had two, is what i shot. Both were fine and no problems.
