Chad -

Where's the best place to buy material?

I sell BCY products for 10% below retail, plus actual shipping cost.  The retail price list is on  www.bcyfibers.com  , along with colors, etc.  I need a zip code to get shipping cost.  There is a minimum order of $25 because I have it drop-shipped from the factory.  For smaller orders, I'd contact Joe Stark at Lone Wolf--he stocks material.

I don't use Brownell products (had a bad experience with a customer rep.), so I'm no help there.

Tim,

I'll answer that one for Chad.  If you want the DF97, 8125, 450+, etc family of materials, from Chad!

It has been my personal experience that the quietest bow strings I've had on any of my bows have been made out of TS-1+.  My bows have been quieter with TS-1+ stings without silencing materials than any of the other FF type materials have been with silencing materials installed.  The TS-1+ strings have been quieter yet after I've added cat whiskers.  I must add that I've never used B50, so I can't compare TS-1+ to it.

Chad you are the man when it comes to strings without a doubt! I have no idea if those strings were pre-stretched or not, but there was a big difference once they were on the bows. The D97 stopped once it was settled in.

Joey good to see ya on here man! I had to stop shooting about 95-96 because of rotator surgerys( had three altogether but not from shooting). Picked the bow up again about 6 months ago and it seems to have come right back. I'll never be up to par with you my man, no matter how much I practice! Come on back to Ga and hunt/shoot with us TBG'ers sometime - would love to sling a few with ya! Oh by the way, I know about the younger wife thing too as mine is 10 less than me - can you say TIRED!!! LOL

Best wishes to you and yours my friend!!

Spanky , it's hard to "lose" talent...you are probably back to slapping nocks again...treat that shoulder kind..you have some bowhunting to make up!
