Great topic!!  The only arrow shaft I can think of that may accommodate a #15 spread is the Aerodynamic heavies (AD). With different wt broadheads I think these shafts will tune. It'll make it a little tougher switching to the 60 lb limbs since your shooting a heavier arrow out of a lighter bow. I'm with SteveO. Get another set of 60# limbs and and a 550-600 gr arrow and you in business. Snuffers are a good choice.  Might also look at the Simmons and the 4 blade eclipse. There all killers.

I have used 75# for bou but that was a long time ago.  Now I'm shooting about 57 with a 26" draw and it still shoots thru them.  My arrows are about 480 grains w/225 of that up front.

The 2nd bow is a great idea.  Twice I've been where one was needed on a trip far from home.

This is a great thread. I never shot a caribou with a bow... Yet...
But most of the one I shot with a rifle, where all fairly close, some as close as 15 yards. I'm trying again next august for mountain caribou, in the Selwyn Mountain on the North Canol road... We'll see what I can do.

Good luck Terry.

A shaft that might get you close to being able to shoot off both those bow weights is an Arrow Dynamics hammer head shaft and just use lighter points for the heavy bow.

If it'll work for a small doe whitetail it will work for a big bull caribou.

Ryan, mentiioned the ADs as well. I like a heavy arrow and will play around with the weight up front in the broadhead.

Thanks again all for the tips.

Ed could carry your arrows and ill carry your extra bow   ;)   this isn't too bad an idea, you'd have a couple fairly big guys to pack caribou as well!   :)

I always used the same bow as for whitetails,60-65#. Sharp broadheads. The 5 I shot were mountain 9yds,Quebec-Lab 25yds,Barren Ground 13 yds, Woodland 15yds and Central Barren Ground 8 yds. Gotta love that tundra.
