your opinion, great northern bows

Strongly looking into the great northern ghost recurve or the bush bow. I'm leaning towards the bush bow a bit though. I have a.few recurves but no straight limb bow (that I really like).
As always pics are a plus. Lets hear your thoughts.
I am gonna try these out next weekend at the expo.

I have a 25 1/2 in draw and shoot a 64" 56 @ 29 GN bushbow. You wouldn't think I would get much preformance from this bow, but thats not the case. The cast on this bow is excellent, and it draws smoother than anything Iv' shot to date. Very well made bow. Love everything about it.My number one Deer hunting bow.You can't go wrong with a Bushbow.IMHO

Not on top of my list, but a bow in my weight range is normally not available in the bows I want to try so I have not been able to try them all with out shooting something a lot heavier. Best bet its to try one and sounds like you are all set there.

I have a Great Northern Bush Bow 62" 47@28 straight grip. The bow shoots great. I am not a speed freak but my shoots at 174 fps with a 525 grain arrow. There is no hand shock. The only thing i would change would be a locator grip.

If I were in the market for a longbow, it would be a Jack Knife Bush Bow.

I just shot a Super Ghost last weekend.
It was lighter than I usually shoot, but it sure had great cast! I am keeping my eyes open, as it was one smooth performer.

Have had or shot all of the models except the Fireball. The Bushbow was my favorite, but I ordered a Jackknfe Lil Creep this summer, and have been shooting it a lot this fall...it's rapidly becoming my favorite. Just traded a Bushbow for a slightly lighter weight Jackknfe Creep to back-up my new one.
Killdeer, what weight Super Ghost are you looking for?

I have owned a Super Ghost and it's performance was awesome.Well made, very fast and liked heavy hunting arrows. I now own a Bushbow which is now one of my favorites.Smooth as butter, faster than most with great cast. The Bow feels like it's 3#'s lighter than what it is.I would buy another in a heartbeat.Beatifull bows also.
They're real sleepers.

Had a few Ghosts over the years. Excellent bows. My favorites though are the Critter Gitters. I understand Jerry isn't making those anymore. I sold one a few years ago to a fella in France I sure wish I could get back. Anyone have a 64-inch, 50#, bamboo laminated Critter Gitter they'd like to part with? Long story short, GNs are excellent bows.

I have owned 2 Bushbows and a Fireball that I still shoot. I've shot the "Lil Creep" and it's very impressive for a "short" "Longbow"...If I had to order a bow from them now it would be a 64" Bushbow 62# at 28" cocobolo dymondwood riser with either hickory or osage limbs with the jacknife takedown system. As far as customer service goes, No one does a better job than Jerry Brumm...He's the best of the best (IMHO) !
