Dang there is a bunch of old people on this post in that 51 - 60 bracket.  
And I resemble that remark in the middle at 54.

Lost almost 40 pounds and feel good.

God put me on this earth to shoot my trad bow and to go on hunting trips with my 17 grandchildren ( and still counting ) so   there  is so much to do I don't think I'm ever going to die

Hi Everyone my name is Gene, I am new to the Trad Gang but I have been hunting with a stick bow since 1958. My father bought me my first real bow for hunting when I was 13. I am now pushing 68. and I have never owned a compound bow. I still hunt every year only just a little slower.  Proud to be associated with you all.  GC
