Xmas in January - A new bow!
« on: January 19, 2013, 02:36:00 PM »
I had the privilege to pick up my new Thunderchild at Big Jim's (and save the shipping    :biglaugh:  )

The Gentle Giant outdid himself again: I wanted an exact copy of my hunting bow Chameleon, only with a few more pounds.

It went perfect, shot the bow, BigJim helped me to tune my arrow, and hunting I went!

With a sturdy bow, a true shaft, and a stout heart, we journey forth in
search of adventure.

Thanks David!
I had these arrow specially made for my US hunts, because the red white and blue are both the American and French colors

I now have a nice stable of BigJim's, 2 Buffs and 2 Thunderchilds

And the detail of the handles. I love those beavertail grips

Thank you brother. Nothing beats having the tuning of your new bow supervised by the maker himself!

I am so happy with it, and the poundage increase is very manageable, I will probably shoot Denton with this one this year

Bretto, the rack was made by me out of plywood scraps and is not fixed.

Longbow, you are welcome to try mine if we meet
