Found this one Sunday afternoon before I headed back up to college. On one piece of property my uncle has found 2 left sides, I found one left side, and a buck on my trail cam has his left side only. So there should be 4 decent sized right sides out there somewhere that I just can't seem to find. I've walked that place 3 times... Thinking about checking out two more spots this weekend, but we'll have to see since they're calling for 8 inches of snow thursday into friday.

Kenny,
On Feb. 4th I was heading to work early that morning and saw a buck near a back road I was on and my lights were on him cause he was right next to the road and he had both antlers still on him here in Maryland...
I've seen the full head gear on them several years ago on Feb. 28th...
Just seems to me the further North, or North west you go it seems the bucks shed much earlier to me but that's just from what I see and hear....

I found this pair Feb. 10th when out doing some bunny hunting just a 100 yds from my house. This is the first time I have found a set dropped side by side. I saw this buck several times during the season, but never had any shot opportunities. Maybe I'll get a crack at him this next season.

Had 8 bucks cross the road in front of me this week, and they all still had their antlers.

I can't wait to get out, love this thread.  when the snow is gone or at least subsided from the present 2 1/2 feet I'll hopefully contribute. Say some good bucks tonight, some had horns still and some looked like they had just lost.

Found this one on 2-11. It is a bit early yet for our mulies. I have been seeing several nice bucks still with both sides. Get's good here about mid March, then the elk are dropping also   :bigsmyl:

Ha I love this thread. I especially like to see pictures of the antlers before they get pulled out of the grass or snow, thats neat. I seem to have poor luck finding them. As is the case with most things traditional the glory is in the struggle I suppose :)

Here's a shed I found 2 weeks ago. I found it near a ditch like so many others. It dropped when the buck landed from jumping. It was buried in pine needles since last year. That woods was under a foot of water from hurricane Sandy.

Does TJ's have a drop on it? Cool!!

And Camryn's has a neat squiggly point too!

We got a pile of snow last week and 6-10" more coming monday! After no winter all winter, this is stinkin!

At least the sqerls won't be able to eat the sheds!
Stay sharp, Kenny.

well this thread has me over eager to shed hunt this year. Been out a few times and nothing on the ground yet. I did bump into 5 different bucks with both sides still so maybe its a little early. I used my point and shoot camera to take some picts of a good buck I am waiting to find sheds of, well I hope. picts taken today! Thought you might enjoy them :)

picture is with my cell taken of the cameras display screen which has a protective film on it so poor quality but easy to post. you get the gist :)
