Nice sheds.  Those are some HEAVY blacktail sheds, eh?

Found a couple more the other day. My lab found the bigger one before I could get a pic where it was laying. Hopefully I can get out this weekend and look around more.

I've been looking a bit but haven't found any. I've seen a lot of the bucks antler-less though. The rodents are probably tearing em up as we speak!

I would also love to see the blacktail wearing those!

I jumped him once during the rut at 11 am as I was walking back to the house. he was laying with a doe
right along side the logging road next to the CRP hillside above the farm house

Great set there Jim but I think your wife is exaggerating the spread lol.

My little brother is trying to train his dog to find sheds.  My dogs on the other hand will not go out in the cold.  Cant say I blame them.

I went for a bit this eve, woulda been better if it was sunny. Still found some stuff of interest to me....
