WOW I bet you had to haul that shed out with a cart!
 Jim,
I think that buck you have on the game trail pic was sucking in his gut for the camera shot    :biglaugh:

Do you have sika deer in Pennsylvania??  I would love to hunt them critters one day.

I am taking my bow for a walk today. Trying for a rabbit and scouting mission.  I will be looking at my feet quite a bit for sheds.

No, that came from Dorchester county, MD. I live near the border of MD and PA and travel a little over 2 hours to be there. Sometimes just for an evening hunt.

Thought that was a Sika shed from Dorchester Co.)shame I live in Dorchester Co. " Sika land" but hardly ever hunt the little critters much anymore...We used to hunt Assateague Island every weekend in the early 80's and 90's ...If you want to hunt the public land at Blackwater our fellow tradgang brother's Steve Kendrot and another "Yohan" here hunt both public and private...It's hard finding a place that hasn't many hunters at Blackwater but if you do your homework you just may see a few Sika's on stand and hear the buggleing...Very fun deer to hunt ...That's a nice stag shed you found there Mike       more then likely the other side was exact as that side...

Here in SE Texas, I've been look'in the past few afternoons but have found numerous fresh scrapes and rubs.  I'm not sure if the bucks have shed their head gear yet or not.  They normally shed in late Jan/early Feb but I haven't found any as yet.

While not technically a shed, I found this skull at Ray Hammond's this weekend and thought I'd share.

I noticed bucks on my trail camera started shedding around Christmas. I found a year old one three weeks ago and a fresh one two weeks ago. The snow is melting, so when I'm back home from college this weekend I'll be back out looking for some more.

I like the picture of the lab!!  My daughter goes to University of Iowa.  I would love a son in law who shoots a longbow.
