Schafer Silvertip.  If I had to make one shot to save myself I hope that would be the bow in my hands.

Wes Wallace Mentor.............Was my first custom bow........do not know if that has anything to do with it.....but....I keep going back to it, because I am confident I will hit what I am aiming at with that bow.

Would have to be my Roberston Purist.  It used to be my Mystical...seems this Purist just fits me better.

This is the most difficult question occassionally posted on this site.

The proof for me of the go-to bow is what ends up sharing my tree-stand with me. That will be the bow that I have the most confidence in.
It has been different in each of the past three seasons.

This doesn't necessarily mean it is my best bow. It is entirely likely that I am biased and subjective in my selection process. I tend to favor great looking bows. However, I'm trying to get over this.

2010: Strickland Stick Curve
2011: Habu Hycurve
2012: Bigfoot Sasquatch

2013: ?? -- Likely an ILF though -- Titan 2 or Morrison.

My confidence is inspired by:
-- Smooth shooting
-- Quiet
-- Fast shooting compared to my other bows
-- My accuracy with the bow

This one is a leading contender so far this year (but the night is young).

I have four! All three piece bows.

Morrison Cheyenne / foam core recurve limbs
Zipper SXT / Evo foam core recurve limbs
Thunderhorn wood core longbow limbs
Black Canyon / Actionwood core recurve limbs

They all shoot good for me and no matter where I put the pressure in the grip they perform. That is a must for me as you never know what kind of angle you will get while hunting shots. Most all bows made today perform fine with perfect form and conditions on a range.

In no particular order it's either my Habu Vyperkan or "Big Bertha" my old Habu recurve. If it were not for those two I would be shooting a Black Widow MA. However there are a lot if bows I have not yet shot.
