2114 aluminums
« on: January 22, 2013, 08:11:00 PM »
My uncle just gave me 6 2114 xx75 cut to 29.5. Do you think i will be able to get them to spine right out of a redstag 50 @ 28"? I also have a Don Dow stik coming that is 48@27. Are these arrows anywhere near the spine required ? If not , I'll turn them into flu flus. I can cut them down if needed, Thanks Matt

they will fly great,2117 might be a little stiff, 2114 is a good arrow ,they should fly well.

I agree with highplains55 . It is a size shaft that works for me 52lbs-57lbs. I cut mine to 29 in. and use 145 grain points and 145 grain broad heads. My draw length is 28.5 inches. They work out of my longbow and recurves that fall into that weight. It yields a total weight near 500 grains.
