Hip side quiver with scrap leather I had lying around
« on: January 24, 2013, 08:34:00 PM »
I was at Tandy leather a few weeks ago and bought three pieces of thick scrap leather for about $14.  It took me a while to figure out a design that was tasteful and not too homemade.. here is the outcome; none of the pieces of leather was long enough or wide enough for a one peice quiver...

What cha think?

That's awesome. I may have to make a trip to Tandy Leather. How did you finish off the bottom?

Since the Top peice of leather was not one whole whole enough to cover the bottom, only long enough, I have attach a flap (shape like a small beaver tail or fishtail)on to the bottom , then fold it back upward and around, this way the hole is plugged, I did this prier to envoloping the bottom half with the second peice of leather for the lower half of the quiver.. It's hard to explain
