Arrow spine

It looks like a friend has finally decided to sell of some bows that he had had on the rack since he closed his shop some time ago. (I will post them here later.) One of these is a 51# Robertson Peregrine that is likely going to make its way to me, via a payment plan. I draw just shy of 29" so I am wondering about proper arrow spine for this bow. I always shot woodies before in my former traditional life, but for now, I am looking to stay with aluminum. I have some 2018s and wondered if they would work for this bow.
I really love compressed cedars but the club uses the compressed foam layer targets and removing woods from the backers is a pain.
Thanks for the input.

I dont do alum, but at your draw it should be around 53#. Surewoods(Douglas Fir) are great shafts, and you can spray them with food grade silicone and the target issue will be gone.

I am not ruling out the woods. In fact I prefer woods but, I have to scrape up the money for the bow first. Right not the only thing I have to shoot out of it are the XX75 2018 and some Easton FMJs in .300 spine. I know they (FMJ)will be too stiff. I can't bring myself to shoot carbons from a recurve. I know many love them, but it just seems odd to me.

2018's will work fine,, is it 53@28 or 29"? doesn't matter with the point selections we have now you can use 100 or 125 gra points,,,, I shot 2018's with 200gr points from a 50lb palmer recurve which bare shafted perfect and 2018's have a nice finished weight for hunting too,,,,,used 2016's if I had 125gr points and 2114's if I wanted the fastest arrow.
