Last Day Doe
« on: January 27, 2013, 11:55:00 AM »
I had only shot one deer so fare this year because of one reason or another and was trying to at least bag one more for the freezer. We had a little snow the other day so I ventured out to a spot where I noticed deer in past years during late season frequent. Tracks in the fresh snow told me all I needed to know but I would have to set up on the ground since I would stand out in the trees. Long story short, I got lucky and shot this doe at 16yards using a homemade 62"60lb longbow. She made it 40yards.

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.
