My New RER LX
« on: January 27, 2013, 08:40:00 PM »
A couple guys have PM'd me, asking to see pics of the RER LX I picked up from Kevin at the Kzoo show this weekend.  My LX is 62" 52@28.  Riser is Honduras Rosewood with a Ziricote double flare, and the limbs are Action Boo cores with Bubinga veneers.

Later this month I'll also be picking up an A&H ACS bow from Larry Hanify.  His bows just blew me away!

AND I finally got around to trying the new production Bear T/D bows.  Might have to get an A riser with #1 limbs in Maple!  One thing I found interesting was the difference in grip size between the Bubinga risers and the Maple.  The Maple was noticeably fuller, with the Bubinga VERY narrow.  Anyone else experience this?

So here's the RER LX:

Love the LX!  You'll have a lot of fun with it!  I'd like to have one like the one I used to have  only a bit heavier.

Yep Logan, she's coming with me to Ray's!  Glad you made it over to the show.  Say, have you heard from Ray as to where we are meeting in Estill?  I haven't heard.  Can't wait to get out of this cold.

See ya Thursday.  Safe travels.

I am weak, and love messing around with all kinds of different bows.  But when the chips are down my RER LX is my "go to" bow.  It is the one against all others are measured in my mind.
Have a great time at Ray's!
