take down limb bolt thread pitch
« on: January 28, 2013, 09:57:00 AM »
I just bought a pretty new little efa quiver. But I want to eliminate the tapered (shouldered) bolt with a standard hex head bolt.
I know I can just walk one in to the hardware store, but I'm at work. Lol.
Anyway it seams to be a very common thread for take downs.

Most TDs use a 5/16-18 bolt. I would get at least a grade 5, 8 would be better.

I just got a couple sets for my Pronghorn from Black Widow. I noticed they have a Thumb Knob style. I'm thinking about trying a pair next time I order from them.
