New guy (just got a used bow) need arrow help

Well its been a challenge for me on my very limited budget to get a bow but I managed to get one. Bear Kodiak 52" 44@28. I need to get arrows and my budget is almost all gone. What would be some cheap arrows for this bow(my draw is 30")  I have about $50-$60 dollars for the arrows and a used glove. And also need to find a quiver for hunting (prefer one that wont be drilled into bow, maybe just a strap on). Any help is appreciated.

once you figure out your desired arrow length check out the classifieds on here or elsewhere for used/good condition/ready to shoot arrows.  if they are too long you can always have them cut down, inserts re-installed.  as for new offerings- your best bet for a good arrow on a budget would be some feather-fletched easton xx75 gamegetters (aluminum), can't beat em for cost and straightness, plus nice gpi for hunting.  as far as carbons go, also cost effective are beman ics bowhunters if you can get em feather fletched.  If you're into wood arrows, you could find some affordable pre-tapered wood shafts, a fletching jig and feathers/points and go to town.  good luck.

Hey Scott, you are going to need something in the 500-400 spine. Hard to say possitively, but you should be around 50lbs at your draw.

The only carbon shafts going over 30"s are the 3555 traditionals (now 32"). The advantage to these is if they run a little weak for you, you can always build out your sight plate.

Certain you could get the 5575's too work at full length and about 200 or more grains up front however, if they are too stiff, there is nothing to do but add weight to the front (not a bad thing).
A 1/2 dozzen fletched would run you about $54 and give you a chance to determine if they are just right. Either will be close enough to shoot well with feathers and field pts. Broadheads will tell the whole story.

Agreed...I think some gold tip 3555 full length with about 150-175 grains up front would be a good starting point.
