Good afternoon (or morning depending on which side of the country you're on) all,
I was hoping to get some help picking some new arrows up. I'm specifically looking at the Goldtip Traditional carbons, and I'm not sure which spine to go with. I've looked at some charts but I still am not sure. They'll be for a 50# @28 inch Don Dow Stik, which is a hybrid longbow.
I prefer having 30" or 31" arrows. Should I go with the 3555 or 5575?
I've also already got some 31.25" 2117's with 175 grain field tips for my 45# Montana. Will those work in my 50# bow as well? Would I need to replace the tips with lighter tips to get the arrow to the correct spine?
Sorry for all the questions. I've been reading a lot here, and it seems that every time I find the answer to a question I had it only raises three more.
If any of you could point me towards a definitive type of guide to arrow spine I would really appreciate it.
Thanks!
