I bought a set of used limbs this fall and the seller threw in a "new" SBD string (still in the package)with them. I had not got around to using that string until last week. When I strung up the bow, there was something that did not look right about the string to me. I called SBD and talked to Pierre about my concerns. He agreed to have me send him the string and let him look at it.
He called me back a few days later to give his feedback. He felt that at some time someone had tried to either change the length or loop size on it. I felt better that he confirmed my thoughts that the string was not "right" and that was all I was asking him to do.
Now mind you I have never ever purchased a string from SBD, including this one. With this fact out on the table, Pierre offered to replace the string for me with a new one. He in no way was obligated to do this since I have never done business with him. That is customer service that is above and beyond. Looking forward to getting the new string and trying it out.
