Saturday came and we headed out and decided to stay out all do so we packed a lunch. We got on some hogs in the morning but with it being so thick were they were at we couldn't see them but they were only about 30-40 yards out. We ate lunch and did some looking around during mid day, we headed back to a spot that we've been seeing hogs and decided to take a seat and just listen. We were they maybe 10 mins when we heard some pigs across the ditch! We headed for them and finally saw them up feeding and it was 3:20 in the afternoon so we had plenty of time to get within bow range. We finally caught up with the bigger pigs and then Hobie and I split up. I followed their trail behind them and Hobie circled in front of them. I got as far as I could with out spoiling them and they were heading right for Hobie! Well they turned back and started heading right for me, I got ready for a shot on a sow that was feeding right to me. I had piggletts within 5 yards behind me and finally the sow was in my shooting lane! I drew back and she raised her head, I held anchor for a couple seconds and then the arrow disappeared into the hog. She made it 20 yards and fell over! #2 was down for the count and I was all kinds of excited! Took out both lungs and part of the heart with another complete passthrough. The cool thing about it was I used the same Interceptor I killed the first pig with to take this pig! After I got back to camp I checked the broadhead and I could still shave hair with it after going through 2 hogs! It was a great experience and am thankful to have taken 2 hogs in 2 days!
