I love Trad Gang
« on: February 05, 2013, 04:39:00 AM »
I don't care what anybody's opinion outside this website may think but in my opinion Trad Gang is the best bunch of people you will ever deal or meet with. I was on trad gang several years ago and dealt with the most favorable people and had a blast with the St. Jude's Auction. Best charity in my opinion. I have been absent for several years now but am back now and NOT ONE THING HAS CHANGED. This is the best group of people to deal with and just to have conversations with.

God bless all and may my prayers include all.   :clapper:    :clapper:
Thanks and keep promoting the great sport of bow hunting to our youth and friends.

Thanks....that is good to hear.  LOTS of opinions outside this forum of us and me from folks that have never even met me.

There's now a guy that's a moderator on another forum that's only been shooting for about 2 and a half years that's now got his own forum on another site and he's also now an expert.  He made fun of my exercise regiment cause it was 'complicated'... and basically discounted what I said saying 'you don't need a regiment, just draw the bow'....but NOW he has announced his regiment, and its more complicated than mine.  And, again, he's now an expert in all the realms ...this guy has done all this and never killed any big game with a trad bow.

Oh, why and I going off on this?....cause the 1st thing these types of folks to when they start a forum is start bashing TG.  And, their no killin buddies like to pile on as well.  And, this is their 2nd attempt, the 1st site that allowed them to have a forum shut it down due to TradGang bashing.

Your thread is much appreciated....more than you know.  It helps counter all the junk we have to put up with along the way.  I also would like to thank the folks that have emailed me over the years for their comments, and those that have been contributing members that send hand written notes with their checks or typed notes via paypal. They don't go unappreciated.     :campfire:

Thanks from here as well.  I know who you are referring to, and he's even trying to tie himself to big names.  He also words things to make you think he's been doing this all his life and just two and a half years ago he was posting about his arrow falling off the shelf when he tried to draw, along with other newbie questions.

I'm glad he's gone as he's a total fake.

Yep, I have been here almost from the start, soon as I found the site and have never left. I just do not go anywhere else, before TG you only had that other site that was such a drag because of all the bashing, now it seems like every person who gets banned from here for bad deals or for their bashing ways goes somewhere else and starts bashing the site or starts another site that never goes anywhere. Thank you so much Terry and Rob for this cyber home of mine.

Terry-

That should be a bumper sticker,
"I love Tradgang, don't tell my wife"

When I hear guys say they got banned from Tradgang, they're usually not hunters, just internet archers.

My thoughts are always, you should follow the rules! dummy!

Danny-

I agree, the bashing is out of control and just plain rude on the other sites. I had a guy that was disrespectful to me on another site. At first, I didn't respond, and I ignored it, but then he continued so I told him off.

The site did ban him but other guys were sending me pm's that he's been doing it for a long time. The moderate told me if I don't watch it I would be banned. I told him if he was doing his job, I wouldn't have to. Furthermore, I've been on the site since it first started with no issues.

Thank you Tradgang!
