Goodbye to a Great Man. Bill Baker
« on: August 22, 2007, 01:46:00 AM »
I was just informed by Al Kidner that Bill Baker of Pacific Bowhunting Safaris has succumbed to cancer.  Many folks here have hunted with Bill in Australia and I know I am a better hunter because of the time I spent with him, as short as it was.  Good Bye Bill,  Joseph

Never had the pleasure of spending any time with him, but I offer my condolences to his family and friends.    :campfire:

Bill Baker is the best bowhunter I've ever hunted with and he made me better too. Everyone that I've met that knew Bill loved him. No one hunted harder or had more fun. The world is a whole lot emptier without him.

I wish I was on a Billie Baker short cut right now. See you on the other side mate.

Blessings to all friends and family.  It looks as though the world was lucky to have had Bill in it.  Even though he has been lost physically, reading the posts confirms that his presence remains. In the end, that is all any of us could ever ask for.
