I ordered a 58", 49# @ 28" FF take-down recurve a month or so ago that they had already made. I absolutely fell in love with it right out of the box, and if the love affair continues on into the spring, I'll probably hunt with it this summer. It draws smoothly without stacking to my 28" draw length, and shoots GT 3555 bare shafts cut to 29" with a 125 grain tip perfectly tuned. I have been reluctant to try a 58" bow in the past, thinking that my accuracy would suffer compared with my usual 62" hunting bow or 64" target bow, but I've always wanted a Silvertip, and had some problems with clearance in a ground blind last year with my 62" bow, so when the opportunity arose to get one already made, I jumped on it.
I'm pleased with the accuracy so far, and really can't tell any difference between the 58" and my longer bows. I suspect that if I did some kind of scientific test, like firing 100 well aimed shots out of each bow, the longer bow would probably shoot a higher score, but that would be too much like work!
