There's some guy out there by the name of Allen Shafer that does a darn good job.  You won't find a nicer guy.  I sent you a PM with his cell number.

Goes by A.S.......seriously, give Allen a call, he'll take care of you and have you a string in no time!

I have not tried them all so can't say for sure.  I like SBD strings a lot, but they are D-10 now.

There are better materials available then D 97. I prefer D10 and ultracam.

I have to agree with Tim.  Customer service is very important and he has the quality and best customer service out there.  Won't buy from anyone else!!!

Who makes the best bow?
Who makes the best truck?
Who makes the best chainsaw?
What's the best haircolor on a woman?
Who makes the best boot?
Who makes the best bowstring?
Who makes the best flyrod?

Any of these will get you a boatload of opinions but that's all you're going to get.

Guy, You are so subtle Bro!!!!
Good Ultra cam strings can be purchased from GlennMcPherson. He owns or has owned Black Widows. Show Me strings goes by L82Hunt on here. I get all my strings from Glenn and they are really great.
BTW a good string is just that. I doubt that there is a best. But maybe. Who knows?

God bless you, Steve

Yeah, I think I'm getting in touch with my grouchy old fart side.
But, jumpin' jimminy on a pogo stick... I see so many of these, "what's the best..." questions that just don't have an answer.

Guy
Maybe he should have asked...."Who makes a GREAT string that I can rely on for fit and finish, durability, little stretch, great customer service and overall just getting the job done?"

Don't ya reckon that when most ask what is the "best" of something they are just asking for people to recommend those that they have had good experiences with so that they don't waste their money, effort and time?  Kinda what TradGang is all about.  Helpin' each other out a bit.

I like champion custom, but have only used his endless loop strings.

I had a bow for  a little that came with oliver stacy strings and they were very well done.

Since I have tried SBD strings I have put one on every bow I own. Just a great string and great people to deal with .

The list will go on and on and I'm sure they are all good string makers, but, I make my own flemish splice strings.  It's fun and they not only look and perform great, but, there's the satisfaction of making them myself and I feel they enhance my shooting experience too.  Just my 2 cents worth....Horserod

Allen Shafer through Lefties R Us (a sponsor here). All my bows have them. Excellent skinny strings with tie-on nocks (if you want them) and terrific customer service.
