I take my deer hunting pretty serious, not necessarily big racks or number taken....but more about the manner taken and respecting the life and energy that passes....Today was one those nice days that brings everything full circle, when what comes from the woods feeds us and passes that energy on....

Wow, I dont do green peppers but that feast would change me. Whats the brown item in front of the olive oil, stock? Really great looking stuff and I share your sentiments.

That looks great, especially with the green peppers! Just a glass of dry red wine and a feast fit for the gods. It really looks good.

That looks like one amazingly tasty batch of deer stew.  That's honestly one of my favorite meals, ever!  I canned up a batch of deer and antelope yesterday.  Should make good eats for those evenings when I don't have much time to cook.
