Helluva Good Website
« on: August 22, 2007, 01:20:00 PM »
I'm not always the sharpest tool in the shed. Just ask Ron about the porchlight, the lock on the gate...I might have been blonde in another life. But something struck me right in the head today. This is the ONLY traditional archery web site where you can ask questions, post opinions, and expect to be treated decent.

Some days I am in my office a lot. Work frustration sets in, and I will jump around reading about traditional archery. Elsewhere, it's hard to find a thread that isn't ugly or turning sour. I find myself on here, sometimes just reading, more and more.

Thanks Terry.

Roger,

There aren't any raisons around here.  They are a kissing cousin to sour grapes!  And neither one's allowed around here.      :biglaugh:

So right you are Roger!  This is as good as it gets.  We love our sport and like to keep it enjoyable.  Some people love to argue, and there are places to do that if that's what trips your trigger.  But as for me, I like the family atmosphere around here best.
I'm like you at work too.  Just got done with a very frustrating phone call from a government regulator.  First thing I do is jump on here for some relief!

I agree totally. There is a lot of good time conversation and a wealth of knowledge to tap into for a relative newcomer like myself. I am on here almost everyday, and few days pass that I don't learn something new.

Well put Roger!!  I find myself doing the same thing.  Some days it seems like I am on this site more than I am doing the work I am supposed to be doing.  But I can come here and releive stress and frustrations and it seems to make the day go by a little better.

Well put Roger and good timing. I like to read and learn things here without all the personal attacks and venom that gets spewed on other sites. I enjoy this site and have lots of respect for the guy running it.

Thanks Terry!

Yes, I left another site for that very reason. This site is truly a great site. And it's grown! Holy moly!
