MEMORY FADE! HELP!
«

Will someone please remind me of the brand name or company that made (makes?) the rope-on tree steps which I own. They are constructed of two pieces of square cross-section tubular steel, bent to about 45 degrees, welded together on on end, with a bar separating the angles. The rope is installed at one angle with an eye splice. They came, 8 nested in a pretty nice green zipper with an illustration of the knot used to install them.
Thanks.

Yep, Stepp. I think his first name is Jim
I don't think he makes them anymore

It is Jim Stepp, but I do not think he's making or marketing that stuff anymore... He was a Viet Nam vet who lost a leg over there, and made them so he could stand with his prosthesis and put up his stand...
He was from up NE... I want to say MA... not sure anymore...he's been "off radar" for a good while.
