No I didn't have any rawhide I used leather lace that I had for saddle repairs. I plan to replace it with brain tanned buckskin. Just need to arrow myself a deer. Used some old saddle leather fro a strap. I set it up to hang about belt high off my right side. It feels good there. I can also wear it as a back quiver. It's not nearly finished. I hope... I plan to add stuff to it from different hunts. I'm currently looking to arrow a rabbit or coon. Plan to use the pelt to make a collar around the top. Turkey seasons coming up so maybe a turkey beard or two. Kinda want it to tell a story and add to it as I go along. I'm still without arrows but I got an order in with kootenia river for a test kit. I've had so many positive responses on it! Very surprised that anyone else would give it a second look. Thanks!
