Howdy folks. I'm a relative n00b to trad bow shooting. I just got my first trad bow, a bob lee takedown recurve, a month ago. I bought it used and am picking all this up on the fly.
My question is related to tuning. The bow is shooting well, and I'm getting better, but I wanted to know the following:
1) How do I measure brace height on this bow? From the back of the shelf? Deepest part of the grip?
2) What is a normal range for the brace height on this bow?
3) Should I just set and forget my brace height, or should I tune it, and if so, what am I looking for when shooting it with slightly different brace heights, e.g., how do I know when I've found the sweet spot?
4) Finally, I assume when I get the brace height set this will change my nocking point?
Thanks for your patience!
