Well I decided to do another poll on what your favorite broadhead is. I should have all of the ones that traditional archers use this time.
Genesis 27:3 Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison.

Pat, never heard of those, sorry.
Jason, I'm mainly looking for something that leaves good bloodtrails. Still using my razorheads.
Mike, I didn't add those becuase I figured there were not many trad archers that used broadheads that were not "cut on contact".
Thomas, haha I just can't seem to remeber to replace the "i" with an "e"    :knothead:      :banghead:

I'm with bmfer, too many good un's to decide. Bear, Simmons, Grizzly,HH, Magnus,   :banghead:

fwiw, The old Bear Razorheads won't let you down if you put em where they're supposed to be. which could prolly be said of most of the ones on your list. At any rate Fred Bear seemed to ok with them. ;)

Actually the Muzzy's are cut on contact and were initially designed for "trad" gear by a "trad" archer.

Tough to choose.....depends on what I am hunting and what bow I am hunting with.....light bow, either a Stos or a Grizzly. Heavier bow, Snuffer. For Moose, I will go with a heavier bow and the Stos or Grizzly....tough to pick a favorite! Kind of neat to see the results though! Mike

This poll is interesting, but vague in results since it doesn't specify what game we're hunting. I use different heads for turkey, pronghorn, deer, and elk/moose. I assume most responses refer to deer hunting. If you asked "elk and moose" you might get different responses, or at least I'd hope so. In any event, I backpack in this afternoon for an opening weekend of elk hunting ... with Grizzly heads. Sure wouldn't want to fall on one! dave

When you get a chance to read Ed Ashby's latest piece on single bevels..some of you MAY, just MAY, change your minds.

It's an awfully interesting article.

It's Bear Razorheads, even though I'm giving Zwickey's a try this year.
