Single bevel STOS ?

Has anyone tried to make a single bevel stos broadhead? I want to try it,just trying to see if there any suggestions. Thanks for your help!

I have done it.  You can do it too but keep in mind a triple thickness head is not ideal for this modification because you still have to double bevel the tip where it is “3 thick”.  It should become apparent when you start to file if you can't envision it now.  The concept does not lend itself per se  and there are better alternatives.  If you are hungry to try...have at'er, it's all a learning experience.  

I have also single beveled Zwickey Delta’s…the same concept applies.  It is affectively a No Mercy but self shaped, if you will.

Kris is right.

personally the single bev no mercy is almost a joke in the face of marketers.

The double bev is good as zwickys should be.

Stos and "Z's"  just don't lend themselves to single bev...

Stos doesn't need "improvement" from a regular bevel IMHO.

I think Ill skip that idea.The STOS IS a good head,flies good and sharpens very easily. Started trying them 3 years ago .Shot 7 deer,all but one where perfect hits,the other a tad high.I Recovered all the deer.That being said I wasn't at all impressed with the blood trails on average.Sharpness or penetration where not a factor.I Guess IM just use to three blade blood tails,been using them since 1991.I like the fight charactertics of a two blade,IM going to give a single bevel a try . ABOWER,TUFFHEAD,GRIZZLY

Check the tusker concorde single bevels at Braveheart Archery. Never poked a hole in anything with one, but they sure do fly well. Length to width ratio is very similar to a stos.
