Do you trust one broadhead for all of your medium to large game? Is the head you use game specific? How is the performance of your broadhead of choice, penetration, wound channel, blood trail?

What do you like and dislike about your choice?
If you have a picture of the hole created please share.

I use Razorcaps for everything from turkeys to moose.

I use VPA 3 blades for everything. So far just some squirrels, coons, turkeys, deer and hogs. I will be taking them on Bear Quest with me in June. The only downside is that I didn't a order more of the 1 1/4", when they made them. The standards work great though.

I've been using the Strickland "Helix" 2-blad single bevel since 2010. I've used 100, 125, and this year will use the 200 grain version. All are the same width (1 1/8").

I've been very happy with their performance althought I'll admit that none have had a work-out as I've avoided heavy bone so far.

My only complaint is that I'm not near as adept at shapening these broadheads as I have been with knives and 2-blade, double bevel broadheads. I'm working on that.

I use this on everything I hunt but I only hunt turkey and big mammals.

I use Magnus classics for everything except for small game they fly great for me. I think the key is good flight and being razor sharp.

Simmons Tiger Shark 175 gr. screw-in, sharpened with a Jewel Stik and Razor Edge. Loaded on the business end of a CE Heritage 250, cut to 28" with 5 1/2 Maxi-Fletch, this combination shoots perfectly and will be the very swift end of any thing it hits--provided I have done my job. Sounds like a body punch from a prize fighter when it hits the ribs. Launched from my 55 to 60# bows, nothing else for me, thanks.

Eclipse with a bleeder has worked on everything from bunnies to Alaskan Moose for me. They are like the Energizer Bunny, They just keep on kill'in.

I used to use VPA 3 blades for everything but now I am shooting stos 2 blades. I shot my deer with them this year and was shocked at the work they did so I plan on using them this spring for bear and then deer and elk in the fall.

I'm not a fan of shooting several setups. Once I have something setup I like to stay with it.

160 snuffer on 65/70 cedar. I use them for everything.I've used woodsmans and magnus 1 but the snuffers are so easy to get sharp( for me anyway) Sharpening 2 blades gives me fits.

I am all sorts of happy with the 125 gr Stos. Comes out the backside and IMHO two holes are better than one. Collapse both lungs and the job is pretty much done. This shaft snapped off when the deer moved and the head had passed into a tree beside the deer.

Sorry, I don't tend to take images of the holes in the deer (and usually cover them with the quiver) but here is an effective hole.

And again - not holes but evidence of "leakage".
