Progress in Trad Archery and Thanks!
« on: February 18, 2013, 12:20:00 AM »
I originally joined and posted here trying to find some one to help me repair my old Grizz recurve. In doing so I mentioned I'd considered moving to a long bow when funds became available. It wasn't long after that one of the many awesome members here gifted me a long bow. (not sure if he wants to be mentioned so I'm leaving his name out) The bow is a shrew in perfect condition and I am amazed at the generosity. While researching arrows I built myself a quiver from split river cane. I've also ordered a test kit from kootenia river archery this past Saturday (also a great guy to deal with). I just wanted to say thanks to all who contribute here! With a little luck there may be a trad archery turkey this season.
Arise, kill, and eat.
