I forgot to add that you just won't be able to beat Buck's $30 blades for anything less than $100 in other brands. Great heat treat and very good steel.

OPPS Sorry Problem Child your 100% correct I should have said and I meant to say  my Chinese Gerber doesn't hold an edge for beans it's my Kershaws that are scary sharp. I have a little kershaw folding  skinner that's made from Kai Steel man is that knife sharp and holds an edge forever!!

Well guys I finally broke down and broke the bank. I went ahead and ordered 3 Case Knives. 1 trapper w/bone stag, 1 (2)blade Hunter w/bone stag, and 1 (2) blade blue bone pocket hunter..... All for under $150.
Really hope these knives are are good as I remember. My Dad use to swear by them.... Feels good buying Amer. Made anyway.....

I LOVE my Benchmade, but you gotta watch, they have a line of cheaper priced knives that are made overseas. The American made models are top quality.
