I was shooting a recurve and couldn't get it to shoot high enough for me, not matter what I did... Lowered nock to the lowest possible point... Holding bow are steady etc... Even at 10 yards, no go.. Every thing was really low...
I shoot 3 under and was taught by Rick Welch.. I shoot his style.. I'm not a world champion, but do ok..
But this bow will not shoot on target even at 10 yards...
So I was playing around with it and thought, "I'll grip the string lower, about 1'' lower than my 2nd nocking point ( I use a knock above and below the arrow).
And it starts hitting... Is this a tiller issue or somethign else???
I've shot bows tillered for split/ and shoot them 3 under with no problem, but for whatever reason, I couldn't get this particular bow to hit until I "walked" down the string a good inch...
YOur thoughts???
