Great shooting Recurve. fast, and super quiet. I have been a longbow guy for 20 years, But I really like this bow. Ill be shipping it off to Ontario tomorrow or Wednesday to get some checkering on the grip. I told Sergio he can play around with it while it is there. Im sure he will give ya a report on it !

The master himself is saying that the performance is close to that of the Peregrine or Slynx... So what would be the reason to buy this bow when you own already a Peregrine of Slynx? Would it add something except for having another bow in your collection?
Recurves also are more vulnarable for twisted limbs..

Ad, I am thinking the draw would be much smoother on a static recurve compared to a RD longbow of the same length. Abe correct me if I am wrong.

To me the most important thing is the grip! I would like to see pics of the grip from all sides & top ( closeup).

The Tuktu is 60" and should be compared to the Slynx I think.

Here is the Tuktu's draw curve taken from Cari-bow's facebook page:

Looks good for a 30" draw.

Benefits???

Huge benefits if someone is hunting minded! Think of the ease of ground blind shooting, treestand shooting, limb clearance of obsticles when hunting. I understand not everyone here hunts but think outside the box.

I didn't notice it before but now I saw the Tuktu EX comes in lenghts of 58, 60 or 62 inches. Ofcourse 58 inch will be great for treestand hunting!  Forgive me my ignorence Ryan, but I really wasn't aware that 2 inches makes such a huge difference ... (uuuhhmmmm, for bows that is       )

There Is another positive point: most of heavily reflexed LB are verticaly unstable and this may induce trouble in accuracy wh en shooting form Is not perfect or academic like hunting shots may be. I am pretty sure this EX design Is more verticaly stable than the LB line thus potentialy more forgiving. Another point Is the smoothness (on effort curve ) of this design: side by side for the same AMO length there Is no way the LB can be smoother than this static recurve.
La critique est aisée mais l'art est difficile.

Dutchman....Too funny...don't tell my wife that!

I think even more than the 2 inches is the fact that the static tip works to an advantage as well. I know for me, I love 62" bows...but..at times the bottom limb and string angle interfere with my leg while hunting.(especially from a tree)

Target shooting I'll stick to 62"ers. One of those 58"ers of Abe's are screaming at me!

This one you mean???  http://www.cari-bow.com/RH_48_Tuktu_EX_bocote.php

This one is even prettier, but has not the right weight:  http://www.cari-bow.com/RH_41_Tuktu_EX_wenmar.php

But if I had the money, I would order this one right away:  http://www.cari-bow.com/RH_48_Taiga_EX_myrtleebony.php

So if anybody is in excess of money and doesn't know what to do with it, please fund me with US $ 1.200,- It is for a good purpose, you won't regret it!

Yeah the second one is pretty. The 62"one should be smoother for  your draw. But don't you already have a nice recurve?
