Bright arrows!
« on: March 13, 2013, 11:34:00 PM »
Let's see your bright arrows. The ones you see the best. These are some I sent out today.

These aren't bright...but I've been trying something different for me.

No pics! And I always like to oogle your arrow creations.

Mine are nothing special. I use plain black carbon shafts ans 1 florescent yellow and 2 white feathers.

I used to always go with a 7" white arrow wrap and three 5" all white shield cut feathers (everything white). They had good visibility,  but I have found my eye can pick up the chartrues stuff much better.  I have been using various combinations of chartrues yellow and hot pink for both the wraps and fletching. Those things really stand out.
I tried the all red look like Fred Asbell,  but I couldn't see those at all, especially on a cloudy day or low light.

Very nice.  I would be afraid to shoot them they look like too nice.

I have another set of the chartruese that are solid 4 fletch.  Chart fletch and nock on a white crown really shows up for me and the white makes the nock glow.  Don't need those electric nock thingies.

Good eye!  Pink and white work good, too, but I'm not ready for pink yet.  Orange is bright as long as the sun is shining but goes dark on me when the sun goes down.

Snag read a study done by some university and it said that Sky or Baby Blue was one of the easiet colors for the human eye to see. I just did a set with a baby blue crown and 3 baby blue feathers and not brigth but can see them absolutely perfect in flight. Shawn
