I don't have kids of my own, and due to school policy I couldn't post picts, but I will say I had three students forgo the opportunity to compete in an archery competition with another school so that they could shoot recurves in our school competition. This is a NASP based program that I run as an after school club. After seven years I found another school that was willing to adjust their time of teaching archery to match when I met with my kids. Since they only have the compounds used in the NASP program they wanted to keep it all the same bows. Knowing that well in advance these three liked shooting the recurves better and decided to shoot the bows they liked. Two of the three scored in the top five for their grade and would have competed.
