I don't have kids of my own, and due to school policy I couldn't post picts, but I will say I had three students forgo the opportunity to compete in an archery competition with another school so that they could shoot recurves in our school competition.  This is a NASP based program that I run as an after school club.  After seven years I found another school that was willing to adjust their time of teaching archery to match when I met with my kids.  Since they only have the compounds used in the NASP program they wanted to keep it all the same bows. Knowing that well in advance these three liked shooting the recurves better and decided to shoot the bows they liked.  Two of the three scored in the top five for their grade and would have competed.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Can hardly wait until he can stand and shoot along side me.

My daughter just got a new bow. We looked at a bunckh of different bows and she picked a Hill style bow from 7 lakes   :D
We got pounded with a few good snowstorms since she got it(snow was almost chest deep on her!) and have been shooting in our neighbor's haybarn. The snow is just about gone,so now we can start practicing in the yard.

Great topic!

This is Lucas....6 yr old last summer.  Loves to shoot with me!

This was a day we were shooting our spray painted "deer".  He made this shot and screamed "heart shot!"

Um, he hasn't expressed any interest yet, but I'm hopeful lol.

About a month ago when he was 2 months old.  I'm a proud papa.
