I have only had bows that set draw weight at 28 inches. Ihave spent the better part of my time hunting behind a couple of different Dreamcatchers but need a takedown to make it in on Horseback to where I am going next year for elk. I Have tried all a couple for feel and comfort of grip. I am just getting Buyers Block. Iwanna check out all the different bows and can't think of them all. I draw 26 3/4 to the back of grip I usually shoot a 50-55 pound at 28 bow really well. I have thought of upping it to 60 for elk but I don't feel as comfortble there. Thanx for any info again much appreciated

Used widow--reputation and resale value
New Bob Lee--can't go wrong there
Brandon Stahl Rose Oak--good craftsmanship
Rivers Edge--good reputation
Used Morrison--good rep
Same for Robertson
Personally, for a brand new one, I'd do the Bob Lee...
Take Care,
Marc

Buy a Montana made bow. Check out Bears Paw Bows up in Lakeside- Neil Jacobsen usually has a couple bows listed on his website so you can get a look. I think they are in the $6-700 range

Sure like my new Zipper. Brand new $500.00 but it was a "special" price. Standard is $650.00 I think.

Classifieds, on a good day you could get two bows for $600 so you'd have a back-up.

Zipper! They are quick, quiet, and shoot where ya look. My 2nd choice would be a Rivers edge.

I'd go with a Rivers Edge or a Bob Lee. I'd also check out the classifieds (highly recommended) as there is an as new Bob Lee for less than what you want to spend and it's a heck of a deal. Rivers Edge are harder to come by, but you might get lucky like I did.
