Kent Zocher got it done in short order on opening morning of the Florida turkey season. Eleven or twelve inch beard, 1.25" spurs!He is hunting pigs now to try and finish up his South Florida slam. I will let Kent tell the story when he gets home.

I met Kent Zocher Saturday morning at his hotel. After a quick introduction, we headed to the ranch. Irv and I had set a pop-up blind in a back meadow(the one near the Double stand, for those that have hunted with us before). We placed the blind on the advice of Ken Gordon who watched a big tom strut out there the weekend before(while hog hunting).
Kory Kais had shot a nice boar the evening before and we were going to track it around 9:30 am.After getting Kent in place, I met Irv for coffee and waited for a call from the Kais' to go help them track.....
