As I mentioned elswhere in another forum, I don't think I have seen two happier hunters than when Kory found his boar after picking up the blood trail the following morning (I guess there was some good in the cool weather). And then here comes Kent with a huge Osceola over his shoulder.
No one had to say "smile for the camera"
Dan and Brian were two of the nicest guests we had in camp as well. Although we tried to get them lost on several occasions, they always figured out how to find their vehicles in the dark, they were always on time for the hunt, and they entertained themselves by finding good lunch spots in the middle of nowhere, and even discovered a canal with huge Gar. Wasn't that one about four feet long, Dan?
It was refreshing to see two college students who knew how to have fun on a budget and were into the trad scene. Dan has one of the prettiest Widows I have seen, told how he had saved for a long time to get it, and Brian carried a beautiful vintage Bear which was super quiet.
Great hunting with you two lads.
